ApexSQL Source Control 2015 is not backward compatible with 2014 and older versions

Symptoms
After upgrading ApexSQL Source Control from previous versions to version 2015 or higher, the previously integrated databases are no longer linked to source control.

Affected versions
ApexSQL Source Control 2014 and older

Resolution
To bring ApexSQL Source Control 2015 in working state prior to upgrade:

  • Using version 2015 or higher, re-link database to an empty source control repository.
